Welcome, to the wonderful world of Pokemon!
As new trainers just about to receive your first pokemon from the Ibitrean region's Professor Yew, you stand on the brink of adventure.
The choices you make during your time may have far reaching repercussions - but do not expect the world to revolve around you.
Starting today, on January the 1st, you have just under a year to face the Pokemon League, should you wish to do so, as all badges collected after the 15th of February become void by the 11th of February the following year, in preparation for the next season.
Good luck, trainer.
I'll be accepting submissions for players at the first AGM, and we'll spend the first session or two building your trainers.
However, in case you want to get a headstart or just want to skim through the rules, i've included links below.
We'll be using Level 1 Trainers with all official classes and the Wild Child, Glitch Trainer and Criminal homebrew allowed.
The Wild Child's "Genetic" Advanced Class will require GM approval on a case-by-case basis, however.
You'll receive a Level 10 Starter pokemon of your choice from any of the 5 generations, with any basic or baby-stage form available out of a one or two stage evolutionary chain.
i.e. You could take a Bellsprout, which evolves twice, or a Spearow, which evolves once, but not a Pinsir, which doesn't evolve at all.
In any situations where the line blurs (See: Scyther), feel free to consult me. Better to turn up approved than turn up and get your idea rejected in front of everyone else.
Player's Handbook and Pokedex v1.32:

Homebrew Classes:

I'll be adding more fluff and detail as we get closer to the launch date.
Good hunting, trainers.
