Well.. I don't know if anyone's up for it but for sure I think it'd be fun -
I want to run a Tamriel-based (Elder Scrolls series for anyone who doesn't know) D&D campaign. I've never run one before and I know nothing of the rules so it won't be for a while, but I wanted to see who'd be interested.
I've got good ideas for a campaign and the story, etc. Just the rules that I don't know ;D
Cheers, guys.

my advice is run in pathfinder, its a much simpler system built on dnd 3.5 and everything about it is published on this site which is updated regularly. Otherwise, it sounds cool and if i can find time when it runs, i'd be up for it

I may well do that, would have to modify it a lot but it looks pretty easy to do, cheers.

I'm up for roleplaying with new people, my timetable is a little varied, so as long as you don't mind intermittent attendance I would be interested.

Yep, it won't be that linear, kinda like the TES games but obviously I'm expecting that you'll have to work together. I'll try and come up with a way that one person could be Brotherhood or a different faction. I think it would work that you'll get your own little missions and you'll just have to convince the other party members to go along with it so you get paid.

I'd point you to DnD 4th Ed or Essentials, myself. Or hell, even stick with Serenity - DnD 3.5e or Pathfinders' spellcasting and class-based mechanics don't really fit Tamriel in my opinion. Your call though.

I think something like Cortex would make more sense, classes in Elder Scrolls game's are never really more than templates.

also the magic works different, in 3.5/pathfinder you only have a few spells per day

Yeah we're using CORTEX. I'm writing Traits and Skills now, and I'll write a book of magic too. This is going to take a while!

Okay. Who's actually interested in playing? We're looking for 4-6 players preferably.
I'll post a list of traits up once it's done so you can all have a look for character generations, and skills too.
I'm thinking tuesday is the easiest day for me but if anyone else has suggestions then go for it.

I'd like to someday, but I have no days free until after christmas and will never be free on Tuesdays.
