Legend goes that the war began with the attack on the unimaginably colossal battleship, The Nidhogg. The Ten Pirate Commandants had built an impenetrable ship for war. Sailing with a immeasurable fleet behind them, the Pirates had amassed an armada the likes of which this world had never seen The Tsurugi, the strongest of the Ninja, pooled together their magic’s and created a great beast that tore through the armada like paper, causing it to sink to the bottom of the swelling tides, its destruction causing the death of the Pirate race 150 years on, and all that is left of Pirates is a collection of broken fact and speculative legend. Children told bed time stories of pirates walking upon water and fighting sea serpents bare handed, Any adults with any belief for the fusty old name tend to associate anyone that calls themselves a pirate these days is nothing more than a petty thief with a ship.
Our story starts in the Village of Moldad on Cutter Island, the largest island in the cluster of land masses referred to as the Woodlands. The islands themselves are covered in a dense covering of assorted deciduous trees and incalculable variants of herbs and shrubs. Cutter Island itself was named after the large number of woodsmen present on the island using the fast growing trees as a source of lumber, the wood itself being transported across the world. Moldad itself is surrounded by woodland on all sides, most of the village is built in a large clearing split by a flowing river. After a few hundreds years, the local wildlife have learnt to leave the human settlement alone, resulting in a large drop in hunters in the village. The previous night, an unidentified beast was seen running through the village, sniffing at a number of points in town before attacking and killing one of the villagers, one of the local merchants that had tried to scare it away. Feeling the need to find, identify and possibly kill the mysterious creature, but lacking anysizablee ability to do it themselves, Two messengers were sent across the island to spread the message that a freelance hunting team would be paid handsomely by Mrs Stocktack, the wife of the now deceased merchant.

The Villagers prayers seem to have been answered, as the by the sun set of the day after the attack. Four courageous souls have assembled in the Town Hall to aid with the hunting of this rogue animal. - Tam Brackenwood (Minty)
A local woodsman well known on the island for slaying Old Sabba, the largest bear on the island that had gone mad with pain. This call to arms the first thing Tam has responded to since his difficult fight with the large beast.
- Arthur Helel (Kit)
A young bodyguard trained in the practice of fighting with Spears, after being freed from work by his Merchant employer. Arthur has set out to find the man that is tarnishing his good name. His Twin brother Mordred
- Rita Bangalow (Krystal)
A sharp eyed young Pistolier, who has a tongue for strong liquor but is far too eager to put her nose in where it doesn't belong.
- Carl Braddick (Matt)
A charismatic man tantalized by the idea of either a story or the gold of a job well done. Either way, he has nothing more to lose since being exiled from his home town and heartbroken pushed away from his family.

Our intrepid hunters set off to the home of the deceased Merchant Jeremy Stocktack after talking to the Mayor of the village. The Stocktacks gave the odd description of some kind of armour plated wolf, which lead Tam and Arthur to inspect the body in the hut of the local Medicine man, and Rita and Carl headed to the Villages meager library to look for any knowledge or legends of animals fitting such a description. Both searches revealed nothing aside from Karlos, The Medicine man, showing Jeremy being paralyzed and killed with a large gold coin in his hand. Feeling that tracking the creature would be easier in daylight they heading back to the home of Moira, Tam's wife. However during the meal they were alerted by a member of the garrison that the creature was attacking the house of the Stocktacks. The creature had almost made it through the door by the time Arthur's spear work split its head from its body, slaying it instantly. Tam stayed behind to ensure that the house was protected while the others slept, during his stay discovering that Jeremy's son Foth also was carrying a similar gold coin. The next morning Tam took apart the corpse of the animal, discovering the location of its paralyzing effects and some of the oddities of its biology, including the odd quirk of its body disintegrating not long after the autopsy. Carl found out from Stocktack's widow that the coins had come from a customer exactly a week ago. Maria described the customer as a 7 foot tall, well muscled man in a long cloak and a covering on his right should that was adhorned with a white 'O' crossed by a white 'X' Heading into the woods the party tracked the Beast's previous paths through the undergrowth until they came across a recently abandoned campsite, being attacked by three more of the creatures as Tam found a set of human prints leading away from the camp. After a slightly panicked fight the creatures eventually fell dead. Hurrying along the path of the human footprint lead to clearing in which they simply seemed to end with the owner falling down. But as they all entered the clearing, an odd and stammering voice asked them how they how they could kill the creatures. Seeing through the trick of the voice, Carl immediately spotted the culprit in a tree and the party upon threatening him where assaulted by four more Creatures summoned by the tree bound assailant. After a combat involving Tam's armour rendering a thrown star useless and Carl falling to floor due to the beast Paralyzing bite, the beasts yet again fell dead. In a dashing display of his fast tongue Carl convinced their pale skinned enemy to surrender. After exacting some rather cruel interrogation, the fellow revealed that the creatures where called 'Ababshi' and where being tested on the island to see how effective they were at tracking magic, as a precursor for hunting something else. "I brought them here to test them, that's what Iori wante.." The assailants last words were vague as the name of his 'employer' caused him to freeze in place, and then his body to implode around his organs. The party collected his effects, including a bastard sword, throwing stars, smoke bombs and a scroll that seemed impossible to open, and headed back into the village. Upon informing Maria Stocktack of the resolution of the beasts and their unnamed enemy, they accepted the strange gold coins as payment rather than the original payment. Believing that the village would be more safe should more Ababshi take to smelling out the variant of magic the coins are said to contain.

After all, save for Carl, had slept soundly within The Brackenwood house, Our Intrepid heroes were requested by Stocktack's Son Foth for a small amount of escort work. The Bandit activity, on the road between Moldad and its nearest neighbour Feeth, being enough to worry the grieving family as they hoped to get away from the place were the Patriarch of their family had been murdered. Cradling a severe hang-over as a result of drinking, Carl sat with Arthur and Rita on the back of the wagon carrying the Stocktacks worldly effect as Tam rode alongside the laden cart. All keeping a sharp eye out for bandits. Over the course of the next few hours, the group conversed with themselves and the Stocktacks about the varying news and rumors that had been circulating the previous night, A collapse at the island mine, a local village within a week of celebrating a 'exotic potion' week in thanks for a good harvest, news that the illusive distributor of the coins had headed south to Feeth and that the islands Law Enforcement, The Pandions, had stepped up security within Halfscont, the islands largest town. Their continued vigilance paid off, Tam spotting movement in the scrub on the side of the road second before being narrowly missed by a poorly aimed bullet. The ever ready woodsman jumping into action and off of his house. The chirpy guns-woman and the ever arrogant Spearman reading themselves for the immediate combat as the resulting actions of the poor highwaymen revealed the entirety of the three man raiding party. Being the fastest of the group Arthur hurled his spear into the gun-toting bandit before him, and then finishing by giving into his warriors anger and stabbing the foe repeatedly until he fell dead. Rita and Tam both assaulted the two sword wielding bandits that had mobilized from the other side of the cart, Tam causing one to pass out from fright and the other surrendering after taking an unhealthy amount of damage to his body. Tying up the two surviving Bandits, with the intent of handing them in to the proper authorities, the Wagon and all traveling with it began to move on. Conversing with the awake Bandit, Bowden, Tam was informed that there were normally three groups of Bandits sent at varying interval on the road and that the largest would be found in the dead center of the Moldad-Feeth Road. Instead of the expected greeting of a dozen snarling bandits, the group was met by their corpses and three traveling warriors. After the supposed leader of the three had finished musing with the group about leaving Bandits alive, they headed off in the direction of Moldad. Stating that they were heading to the Potion and Herb festival in Monkey Puzzler Village. The event itself supposedly notorious across the seas. The rest of the travel went relatively quiet, the wagon and its cargo reaching Feeth by late evening. Arthur and Carl escorting the wagon to the docks, Rita and Tam taking the two captured bandits to the Sheriff Bertram. Not long after checking the grapevine around town the group decided to meet in the morning, all four going off to look for lodging in the already strained town. Thanks to his fast tongue, boyish smile and musical talent, Carl secured himself and Rita a room in an over priced inn for much more reasonable price. Tam took to the outskirts, setting up a tent as is his way. The last of the three, Arthur took a much more amorous way to finding a soft bed for the night. Turning his own charisma up to eleven, he managing to worm his way into bed with one of the local girls, a smug grin on his face of a job well done.

Using the information strained from the local populous of Feeth, the four heroes decided to yet again follow the trail of the previous owner of the suspicious gold coins. Packing up and collecting a few more essentials, they headed off into the woodland of Cutter Island, hoping to reach the Mining Town of Unger nestled deep within the hills of the Dark Woods. After several hours of shifting through the woods. Tam called for the party to stop for the night on the edge of Darkwoods, hoping that the party would be suitably rested for the more intense trip through the more daunting section of the island. As they stopped, the party found an encampment that was currently the home to the branch of Pandions working on the local bandit infestation. After being offered the protection of the islands guardians, the party set up their tents and slept, hoping that the travel over the large hill leading to Unger would be uneventful. The trip began badly, Tam's own tracking ability leading them two miles in the wrong direction. After correcting the orientation problem and narrowly avoiding a mauling from a pair of bears, the foursome eventually made their way into the near stagnant mining town. After conversing with the local inn owner about the Town's situation, the Group, at great physical sacrifice, helped the local townsfolk dig further through the collapsed entrance, helping the locals until the entrance itself re-opened the next day and allowed the starved survivors to escape. Entering the mine to try to check for survivors, the extensive damage to the rest of the mine lead the town's Foreman to call it a lost cause. However, Tam's own intuition gave the idea to knock against the rock, a plan which seemed to be successful, yielding the sound of knocking back. After digging through to the sound of the knocking, the party found a fissure leading down filled with an odd glowing blue light. The one question on everyone lips. Who is knocking?

After convincing the Foreman and the miners to wait an half and hour while they regained their strength, the party headed down into the glowing fissure. The appearance of the space underneath appearing as if someone had built this strange place. Pushing the doors open they were met by a large room covered in multiple murals. Each depicting a city crumbling and burning under the watch of winged monsters. After reading the inscription of 'Only for the selfish and the selfless will their door remain closed' the party pushed past the doors. Finding themselves in another room that lead them toward three doors with coloured gems built into them, and two corridors leading out of the room. Finding blades wedged into pedestals, lined with the words 'The Death Of Magic', in the rooms at the ends of the corridors. The group decided against pulling them out and decided to test the gem covered doors. Upon touching his hand against the central green gemmed door, Tam felt an exquisite bolt of pain that physically weakened him. The door opening to a room full of similar green gemmed doors. After taking a deep breath and re-asserting his resolve. Tam tried the one of the orange gemmed doors, the door opened immediately after. Though Mr Brackenwood was left with the lingering feeling that he had forgotten something. After getting Rita to try to open the final orange door connected to the first room. The party realized that these doors lead to more rooms with more doors and decided on taking a different approach. After a small amount of deliberation over who would draw the blade from its designated pedestal. Carl was the one to take a deep breath and draw the elegant small knife from the pedestal. Believing that there were no after effects of acquiring the blade. The group moved on the the other pedestal, removing the other blade. Deciding to test the inscription on the pedestals, Carl tapped the blade against one of the crystals, the gem draining of colour and the door opening. Using this new method of opening the otherwise draining doors, the party managed to make short work of the doors until they reached one that lead off to a room that was filled with a blue glow. As they walked into the room, the glow was revealed to be originating from a circular engraving on the floor. Simultaneously, the group were mentally questioned by an entity that supposed lived of the other side of the circle, that it refereed to as the gate. As they returned to their own normality. The gate cracked straight through the center. The blue glow of this temple disappearing. Working their way out the party returned to the Unger surface. Enjoying a breath of fresh air, they were quickly put on high alert as the mysterious 'Brody' wandered into town and collapsed. The name of the mysterious and generous figure that had visited Moldad not long ago finally known. After ensuring Brody had been properly tended to the party set themselves up for the night. Tam himself woken up by Brody's outburst in the middle of the night. The heavily wounded man stating.
'Two...there are two....Sables."
The next morning Tam took the opportunity to rally together the group, leading them to the Ruined City within the Dark-wood that Brody had returned from. Spending the next days traveling there. The party found the small crater left by the explosive that had harmed Brody and the body of the man that had triggered it. Going over the body they came to the conclusion that he was from the same region as the men of the Azule Tsurugi. Rearranging a shredded not in his pocket they found.
'One in Unger Vessel One in Sables Lake You are to hold the weapon Until Kohime arrives'
By this point the party were astounded at the sudden brewing of an intense storm, spearhead by the striking of lighting at the head of the mountain above Unger. Heading back at a break neck pace they found the townsfolk boarding the every building up to brace for the wind and that Brody had awoken and limped out of town. With Tam's tracking skill fighting against the heavy rain they quickly found him. The wounded man informing them that there were two gates, one at Unger and one at Sables and that the opening of the gate at Sables had to be stopped at all costs. After dragging Brody to Alvale to allow his continuing wounds to be tended and for Arthur to procure a horse and cart for faster travel to Sables. The party have decided that within 5 hours they will leave Alvale and head along the road to Monkey Puzzler Village in the hops of reaching Sables Lake before someone else triggers the second gate

Our heroes awoke the the dark hours of the morning. Loading the cart and heading off on the road toe Monkey Puzzle Village, the closest settlement to Sables lake. Along the way Carl and Arthur Questioning Brody about the coins and his trek through Cutter island, however Brody was rather limited with the information he gave and stated that everything he had done so far was at the request of a group he referred to as 'The Brotherhood'. Upon reaching Monkey Puzzle village they found the village setting up for the Annual 'Generosity' Celebration. A week long party in which the town had its 'mind enhancing' potions given away for a meager fraction of their cost. After scraping through the town for information , Tam and Arthur found that the Trio warriors that they had met before had headed out to Sables lake just a matter of hours before Tam, Arthur, Carl and Rita had arrived in town. After a hour of traveling via horse and cart, The quartet found the three men seemingly arguing with a local, before stabbing him to death. After a brief lapse in concentration, the group also noticed that one of the trio had disappeared. Trying to briskly stop the leader, Kohime as he pushed the now stolen boat into the lake, Tam jumped from the cart to intercept him, but was in turn intercepted by the heavily armoured member of the trio, Thrash. As they tried to first avoid Thrash, and then work out any obvious weaknesses in his armour. The Large Warrior drew his tremendous mace and bean to attack them. The four heroes in a extended combat with Thrash and Ka Ryu, the missing warrior, who was now taking pot shots from cover. Thrash proved to be a difficult opponent, most attacks sliding off of his armour until Arthur stabbed him in the back of the knee, shattering the joint. The attack however did not stop the Mace bound foe from walloping Tam painfully and nearly breaking Rita in single blows. After ineffectively struggling against Thrash, Tam was finally cheated out of his kill as a errant shot from Rita found its way through the wounded man's armour and Thrash hit the ground dead. Ka Ryu was eventually stopped after putting several bullets into the group, Carl firing a shot that ripped through the small sniper. After taking one shot from Rita, Kohime had ducked down in the small boat, before diving into the lake, swimming down. Arthur following, taking a painful and damaging shot through his torso. As Thrash and Ka Ryu were nearly simultaneous stopped, Tam ran toward the lake, hoping to catch up with Kohime and Arthur who were now swimming down toward a tunnel that lead into the crater wall of the lake. As they surfaced, Tam and Arthur threw aside the convention of diplomacy and attacked the enemy head on. Kohime's own fencing blades where more than a match in deflecting both Tam's claws and Arthurs Weapon Mastery in spears. Using an opening to stick Arthur painfully in his bullet wound. Deciding that fair play was too good for the insulting fencer, Tam tackled the foe as Arthur rained down spear blows into Kohimes face, killing him viciously. Letting Arthur check over the body and binding his wounds, Tam walked up to the familiar blue glow up the top of the stairs. After conversing with the entity within, the scribed circles glow faded. Back on dry land, Ka Ryu was coup de grace-d by Carl as he tried to explain that they had to do this course of actions. With the resurfacing of Tam and Arthur from Sables lake, the party treated their wounds, buried their foes and headed back to Monkey Puzzle.

Two weeks had passed since the struggle at Sables, the four adventurers reassembled after their brief intermission and headed to the northern town of Cutterport to hopefully gain passage to the war-ravaged island of Morvia. Reaching the ship of Captain Lavitz, the young seafarer offered them free passage for the day long trip. Upon stepping onto the boat, Arthur immediately made his way under deck, his recently surfaced illness causing him grief. The others staying above deck to enjoy the sun and sea air, joined by a Male and a Female, looking similar enough to be twins. Carl, becoming bored with the lack of competitive sport, set up a barrel with the intent of generating a bit of healthy competition with Rita and the Male twin. While the two men showed their own skill, Rita abruptly ended the competition as Lavitz's crew called for her to stop damaging the ship. The afternoon passed with a melodic song sang by the two Brackenwoods accompanied by Rita's lute, and juxtaposed by the screeching of a badly played flute. The night went quietly for most, Tam gaining information about Morvia and Lavitz from the crew, and the three others sleeping below deck. However as the Middle of the night loomed, Carl was awoken by the female twin sneaking into his and Arthurs room. The woman telling him that; 'You were the last person he saw, we found the bodies' before branding a glowing blue mark onto his shoulder. Letting the assault slide, Carl let her leave. Unsure of what had just happened and drifting back to sleep on top of deck. The next morning was spent conversing with Brody, until the boat pulled into the port of Norran town, the most southernly point of Morvia. After getting off, Brody left to gather some information while the Party found an inn to stay in for the time being and set off to view the town. Carl set off to find somewhere that could teach him how to fight with a sword, but found that the waiting list wasn't free of spaces for another 2 months. Tam and Rita made their way to the Blacksmiths to commission the Bear-cloak wearing woodsman a newer metal set of claws. Believing their pushing matters to be resolved, the party re-collected back at the inn, Brody making his way back not long later, explaining to them that a man going by the name 'The Grave Robber' had supposedly disappeared and with him had gone an important item that the Brotherhood had paid him to 'acquire'. As his name suggested, The Grave Robber's most usual haunting ground was Memorum, a large Grave Yard just on the edge of The Barren. The vast area of flash scorched land that makes up the larger portion of the center of Morvia. Carl, Rita and Tam arrived in Memorum, a large collection of mausoleums, graves and crafter angels. Using some initiative to deduct that the Shack within the shanty marked with the cross with a circle through it may have belonged to the Brotherhood friendly Grave Robber they made their way in. Finding a unbound mess of pages and a map of Memorum, which after Carl had skimmed through, lead them to the conclusion that The Grave Robber had been lead to 'Site 6' by another Grave Robber named Thaddeus. Lighting torches and forcing open the door to Site 6, they made their way into the mausoleum that The Grave Robber had been lured into. Finding signs of a struggle leading to a disturbed coffin. Tam opened it up, finding a starving, soiled and somehow alive Grave Robber. Taking him back to their temporary camp and letting him eat for the first time in 8 days, Grave Robber revealed to them that Thaddeus had stolen the item from him. A Magical sword that generated shock waves from its blade. Mouths agape from this revelation, they quizzed him into the night until eventually laying themselves down for the night

Arthur finally awoke, finally feeling well enough to stand on his own two feet and walk out of the Inn room he had been abandoned in while the party looked for The Grave Robber. Passing a rather posh gentleman at the Inn's bar, he headed toward the smell of cooking fish and indulged in a meal on the pier, talking to the friendly vendor who eventually mentioned seeing a man who had looked like him coming through not longer than a week ago, and was heading the the center of the Barren to visit the cesspool of villainy referred to as the Hive, built within the center of a town called Vasto. Arthur's brother Mordred was heading to visit a man named Jareth Neige, a man renowned for both his strong collection of underlings and his passion for collecting weapons. Via a stroke of luck, the gentleman from earlier had walked past, hearing the conversation, stating that he had come to Morvia to sell items to Neige. After a good nights sleep and finding that the Grave Robber had vanished in the night, the Three others used information pried from him to find Thaddeus two shacks within the shanty. After making the mistake of simply walking into the first empty hut, the group had sense to check for 'traps' eventually ending up with carrying 3 small bags worth of caltrops. In Thaddeus' second shack they found only a medallion made of highly polished wood, a crying eye carved on one side and the Initials J.N. on the other. Deciding that simply searching the island was a bad idea, they headed back to Norran, hoping re-group and talk to Brody as to what would be the best course of action. Sitting down to share information over a meal. The young man who had approached Arthur introduced himself to the group as Druss. And that he hoped to head to Vasto to sell some of his deceased fathers collection. One quick consultation with Brody later and the 5 strong party hired a cart and headed to Vasto across the Barren, the four hour trip made more disinteresting by the lack of any living scenery. After hiring a room in Vasto for the night, rented to them by a short man with an amusing speech impediment. The crew headed inside the Hive, a vast building constructed in the center of Vasto, housing all the unsavory types that never wish to be found. Upon exploring the web of villainy, the group headed inside a rented room signposted as 'Thaddeus Burial Services' seeing an opportunity to retrieve the lost sword, Arthur and Carl headed in, only for the intimidating 'Dhwumpir' to threatened Arthur on the grounds that he had been here recently and Stolen a weapon from Mr Neige. After trying to explain that it had been Arthurs twin brother, the entire party was Frog-marched to Jareth's Office. The mature gentlemen eventually swaying to how stupid the tale was were it not true. Jareth stated that Mordred had stolen 'The Infinite Lance', a spear that had supposedly became thousands, though in recent times it had only split into seven. Upon this point Druss presented his two items to the Weapon Collector, a sword that Neige appraised as useless, and a set of bracers that when equipped grew large frozen claws out of them. After a long and drawn out argument over how much the Bracers where truly worth, Dhwumpir suggested that Neige allow him to fight one or maybe a pair of the heroes. Druss could bet his Bracers and Neige would bet his latest treasure, the Sword 'Wyrmbreath'. The winning side taking both items and leaving the loser with nothing.

After a brief fight in the indoor Colosseum that resulted with the overconfident Dhwumpir dropping to his knees. Tam and Arthur dragged the wounded fighter back to the Barracks to let Carl patch him up, only to be interrupted by Neige's men coming for the right hand man. After some aggressive talk, the hired muscle dragged Dhwumpir off to the top of the hive. With Neige headed out of his Colosseum side seat enraged, the party followed him upstairs, where the aged crime lord was found monologuing to his failed invigilator while brandishing a gun. After convincing Neige that the man he had sheltered for 30 years wasn't worth killing in such a disrespectful way, The party were handed the now unconscious Dhwumpir and their won weapons as Neige looked on smiling. A rushed trip out side and a brief stop in a Inn later they headed back to Norran with the intention of handing over the Wyrmbreath to The Brotherhood. After making their way inside the Brotherhoods den and waking Brody up with scolding hot candle wax, they were praised and paid by the small group of rogues who identified the Ice creating bracers as the 'Frost Shard Bracers' a weapon belonging to one of Tam's ancestors, Astinos Brackenwood. Along with the brief history lesson came the information that there were two possible paths to take to solve the problem with Cutter Islands gate. Either head to the Territory of the Rosso Ninja whose lands had been plagued for 200 years by dreaded creature known as Kiri Kata, or to head to the Lands where the Azule Ninja reside in an attempt to catch the perpetrators and hope to find where they had got their information from. With little hesitation, the party decided that the Azule lands where the best bet for results, and where told to head for the port of Sudler on the west coast of Morvia.

The next morning the party conversed with Brody about heading to Sudler. Their ally informing them that the Brotherhood would met them there in four days. Leaving Tam and his ailed wife to catch up with them later, the remaining team members headed with Dhwumpir across the Barren to the Merchant town of Sudler. Sweet talking themselves a meal at Dhwumpirs house, they rented an inn before heading over. Finding that when they knocked upon Dhwumpir's door, he answered in a strange manner accompanied from an odd shouting upstairs before ushering them back outside. Hearing a gun shot the party headed back inside the well furbished house, finding Dhwumpirs wife dead and He and his daughter being held at gunpoint by a hired gunman sent by Jareth Neige. Calling himself Jerimiah Stithins, the gunman entered intense negotiations with the group, eventually coming to the idea that revenge upon the ex-fighter wasn't worth the party tearing him limb from limb. With an uneasy smile and a temporary hostage, Stithins left hastily. After moving Dhwumpir and his daughter to the inn rather than leaving them inside the potentially compromised house. While Carl tended to the two of them and retreated to his room to write of the days events. Druss, Rita and Arthur took the chance to scout out around the town to try and kick up any potential leads as to whether Arthur brother was still present within the town. Spending nearly two hours questioning everyone they could find, the gang found themselves in the center of town, Arthur followed an figure carrying a long covered weapon on his back. After a brief conversation, both revealed themselves to the other. The figure was indeed Mordred. As they spoke, Mordred named Arthur as the one responsible for the accident that had caused the two of them becoming separated as children. Struggling to allow Mordred to walk away from him, Arthur found out quickly that his brother was more than ready to be violent with the weapon stolen from Neige. The Infinite Lance. After taking several strikes from it, Mordred threw the Obsidian Spear, the weapon splitting into five separate weapons. Drawing upon his weapon training, Arthur deflected all but one of the spears. The final striking a potential lethal blow. Druss and Rita watched in horror as Arthur dropped to his knees, only for the fallen warrior to pull himself back up and begin to attack Mordred bare handed, the scream of Feral beasts and attacked men ringing through the quickly deserting street. As Mordred fell, the frenzied Arthur continued to attack him and Druss and Rita tried desperately to draw Arthurs attention, firing their guns and cutting their hands in the attempt that the noise or blood would get his attention. Unfortunately for them, this plan worked perfectly and this was enough for the bestial Arthur to turn and start attacking them. After landing a clean hit upon Rita's legs, Arthur convulsed and passed out. Mordred hissed desperate last words at Druss as the young noble picked up the Infinite Lance. Telling the impoverished man. "He... killed...me" With Carl arriving on the scene a few minutes late, the party moved Arthur and the now deceased Mordred. The former no longer having any wounds to patch up. After the ordeal of the last day, the party resigned themselves to rest, The Brotherhood and the travel to Azul Territory just around the corner.
