He is quick to answer but not in the same tone as before, on the contrary, his voice feels almost warm and apologetic: Ya sé que te gusta a mi familia. —short pause— Ven aquí para darte un abrazo!* —and again another pause. Still, you could swear he continued talking, but what he actually said, if anything, you couldn't know. Still, that was Gastón. Why he was being so sympathetic now... you wouldn't guess. Looking through the window you could see that you had a steep fall from the first floor to the back of the brothel. Oye gringo, ¿dónde estás?** — clearly closer, you could imagine Gastón to be on top of the stairs, three doors to where you are...
* I know you like my family. Come here so I can give you a hug. ** Hey gringo, where are you?

Waving at Rosita to put the bed between her and the door and get down, James desperately tried to think through the haze and get the blood pumping back upstairs, searching around his head trying to remember what he's done this time. Gastón was not the most pleasant of men at the best of time. But seemed like he had a real bee in his bonnet this time, willing to piss of even the whores he loved spending so much time with.
Quickly strapping the gun down into its holster and tucking the knife down the back of his belt. James buttons up his shirt and prepares to get sweaty in the way he didnt intend coming into this place. Slowly creeping up to the door and putting an ear to it, hand loosely resting of the handle of his gun.

Rosita looks scared but promptly complies to your suggestion. Still, too frail to move the bed, she looks at you in distress pointing to her ear — as if saying that he might hear the dragging. Even so, with this kind of thing happening all the time, Rosita put herself to the task of putting the mattress against the door. While she was at it you overhear Gastón ordering his thugs around. After that a kick through a door and a gunshot. Two seconds of complete silence followed by a scream so loud you would swear Rosita was screaming her lungs into your ear. But no — it all happened in one of the other rooms, one or two doors down the corridor. Then a female woman shouting at Gastón from downstairs. Probably Jocelinda herself. Only her could speak directly to him. And he shouted back at her, so fast that you couldn't catch a word. The girl next door continued to scream: ¡Ay Dios mío! ¡Aaay Dios mío!* Nevertheless, with all the commotion you'll probably have a few more seconds.
* OMG! OMG!

The sailors awaited in expectation the reaction of the young boy. And, when he shuddered, they all laughed heartily. * * * On the other table Otis didn't knew how to react. He was so absorbed by his own bad luck that he wasn't paying attention to the other players. Still, he is quick to understand that they were really up for a fight. It feels as if the player to his right was about to punch the cheater. How will Otis 1 react? * * * Stevie tried to smile but instead started to cough. This threw the sailors into an even louder merriment and, instead of helping him with a friendly slap in the back, they began teasing him, and pointing at him, and splashing him with "recipe" — of course, this aggravated even further his condition, and Stevie couldn't stop but cough even harder. Watching all this was Harry 2 from a different table. * * * On his cabinet, Kurt 3 was very happy with the flow and the pacing of his writings, so he decided to keep going. Still, after a while someone knocks on the door: it's Shellabarger. 1 You have initiative and may act first this round. 2 Surprise round if you see any reason to act this round. 3 How will you take this unexpected intrusion?

As soon as Rosita starts moving the mattress James gestures for her to stop and hide under the bed instead. Then takes a deep breath points to spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch (crosses himself). Slowly cocks the gun holds it lose in his right hand and strides out into the hall way turning to face the commotion he shouts "¿Usted quería que yo? Pues ahora me tenes! y mejor espero a todos los Santos que podrá manejarme.*"
*"You wanted me? Well now you got me! and now you better hope to all the saints you'll be able to handle me."

Jocelinda, yelling from downstairs, wasn't too happy with Gastón's eruption. But what could she do, call the police? The police was already there! "Ahí lo tienen, muchachos!" * — said Gastón to his delegados ** who were still at hands with the crying woman: "¡Cállate puta!" *** <SLAP> Now that the woman had been silenced to a faint sob the two deputies looked at you, waiting for Gastón's orders. He looked at you with contempt: "Carajo, yor spainish is worse then my english! Put down yor weahpon and come with me, Houlihan." — he takes a few seconds to look at his thugs, so that you'd take your time to look at them as well. "My fahmily wants you to do anothur job."You can talk, shoot or run - it's up to you. You have won initiative over the thugs, but Gastón will react first, no matter what you'll do - so choose wisely. He's not armed, though - yet I mean.
* There he is, boys! ** Sheriff deputies. *** Shut up you whore!

I put the weapon back in its holster not taking my hand off of it though and ask "so what is it you want me to do this time?"

Gastón replies with a snarl: Sólo un pequeño favor. Ya lo sabes...* — and although the woman two rooms ahead keeps crying the two "deputies" don't give her any heed. Instead is Jocelinda who comes up the stairs and starts shouting at Gastón once more after seeing all the mess. Again, so fast that you can barely understand a word. But she's not happy with the shooting — that's for sure!
What about now, how do you want to react?
* Just a small favor. You know... He's probably talking about delivering some package to someone in the jungle or in the big city.
