I head towards the demolitions equipment to make sure its all secure still before checking the rest of the equipment and then wandering around the ship looking for anything else that needs doing.
(Assuming I succeed to secure everything)

I quickly take in my options for proceeding and conclude that relying on Tool’s oxygen cable to climb over the hull would put too much strain on it, possibly causing it to snap, or the tension in the cable could be felt by Tool leading to him panicking. Clearly, the best option here would be to activate the propulsion unit, and yet I find myself hesitating. All the simulations in the world can’t prepare you for the reality of facing up to your first zero gravity flight in the void of space, especially with the added stress of when a crew member’s life hangs in the balance. Never the less, I take a moment to calm myself and once again think back to my training, seeking solace in those easier times even if they didn’t seem that easy at the time. I imagine my drill instructor’s voice booming through my headset and with the routine practiced countless times over I activate my propulsion unit.
(using the piloting option, and an action point as I really don't want to find myself floating listlessy through space as a result of this)

I ask Ms Rei one last thing before finishing my tea and heading back to the bridge.
"Do you know of anyone who can make sense of this encrypted whatchamacallit?"
Waiting for an answer before either:
A) Giving her the file and heading off, or
B) Just heading back to the bridge thinking to myself, "is there anyone else I could trust?" (would there be a roll for this?)

Starting to panic I carry on trying to unknot the cable.
I will also use an an action point

At the armory:Fawkes managed to squeeze through and take a closer look on his equipment. All was in good conditions but one capsule was missing from the box. The capsule alone wasn't dangerous, but if subjected to extreme heat or electricity... At the canteen:She looks a bit amazed with your question and with the meaning of it, but is quick to answer: I might know someone at my company. Maybe if I send him the file...? (As to knowing whom to trust you need to tell me that you want to do a Sense Motive check whenever you are in the presence of a person that you want to check out...)What about now? A, B, A+B or C!? At the outer space:Activating the propulsion unit, Lieutenant Marshall quickly throws himself into open space only to maneuver in a perfect parabola and "landing" just a few meters away from Tool, who was still trying to unknot the cable. He manages to loosen up a bit but he understands that the cable couldn't get much more strain or it would burst. Even as he looked at it he could see that it had a slow puncture. He would begin to lose oxigen fast. They both exchange words through the radio. What would be their plan?

"Ms Rei, I think we're going to get along just fine."
I give her a gentle smile and hand over the WI-SK.
"Just let me know what you find, I do like a good puzzle."
I bow my head to say goodbye and take my leave, heading back towards the bridge.
Are action points just used for rolls? OR could you use them, for example, to point your character in the right direction?

"Lieutenant Marshal unless you have a plan we might have to do something drastic like cutting the Cable and hope that you get get me back to the ship quickly because I'm losing oxygen fast."

"Allright then Tool, the puncture is forcing my hand. I'll have to tighten the knot in your cable again to try and seal it up. Then if I cut you loose beyond the knot we can work on getting you back. The fastest way would be for me to launch the both of us up and away from the hull, and then you separate when you see the airlock and launch yourself over there. It'll be faster than either of us changing direction mid flight. Once there you must seal the airlock immediatley if you feel light headed as I may not be able to get there in time. But I've still got oxygen so I'll be ok out here for a while. Any objections?"

I have no objections.
I will use an an action point for the roll needed to jump into the air lock.

At the armory:Fawkes stays very quiet, slowly getting back into a vertical position, watching his surroundings... Somehow, he felt as if he understood the repercussions of something of this magnitude. His instincts told him, though, that the least expected place for a provoked explosion to take place would be next to a load of explosives. More the reason to search for something out of the ordinary... — he thinks. (What do you want to do now?)At the canteen:Please, call me Lucia. After what she receives his WI-SK and nods, transferring the file: I'll see what I can do, Professor...? — she extends him his WI-SK back with a smile as if asking for his name. (I've copied the information on Action Points below. But maybe you're just meaning something on the lines of a Wisdom check - no? That way you could use 1 AP to add 1d6 to the check. That type of guidance can also come in the way of a GM ex machina, as what I've done with Fawkes up there, but it comes at a cost: he has just lost a full round doing nothing.)At the outer space:Lieutenant Marshall tries to tie the cable back into a knot before cutting it bellow. But, as soon as he does that, the knot gets loose and Tool's suit starts losing pressure, but he seems to be fine... for now. (You can only move in the next round. So I decided to use that AP on the Fortitude save instead. I hope you don't mind.)
You can spend Action Points (AP) in different ways: [1] To add a 1d6 to one given roll (any d20 roll, that is). [2] To get an extra action for that round. [3] To get temporary hit points equal to your Con modifier. They'll stay active by that same amount of rounds. [4] And some Talents might need the expenditure of one action point in order for you to use them as well. By the way, you all started with 8 AP, so now you stand as follows: - Fawkes, 8 AP
- Lieutenant Marshall, 7 AP
- Professor Hemmingway, 8 AP
- Tool, 6 AP
But don't worry, you get new AP when you level up - and that is closer than you think!

I scour my brain for any shred of info that might help me locate the missing parts while finishing clearing up and then heading to the armory officer to find out if anything had been checked out.
(I spend an AP on that check to think of any more info)

Towards Lucia, "My dear, you may call me Benedict. I look forward to speaking with you again."
I leave the canteen and just wander aim-less around the ship, just observing for the time being.

At the armory:Fawkes decides to look at his surroundings, searching for something out of the ordinary. But the only thing he notices is that the hood of the APC is somewhat lopsided. Aimlessly:The professor spots someone snooping around in the armory. One of the marines, apparently... At the outer space:Lieutenant Marshall manages to recede a few meters with Tool in its grasp, but their distance to the gate remains practically the same. He calculates that it will take them double the time to get there because now he has approximately double the mass to carry. And, unfortunately, they couldn't use Tool's propulsion system because the cable fed into both respiratory and propulsory systems. Still, Tool doesn't show signs of being affected yet.
EDIT: Oops! I forgot about your Action Point, Robb... Lets just say you didn't spend it - okay?

I walk into the Armory.
I wish to use Sense Motive on the marine.
