The stranger can either talk to you now, or later. It's completely up to you guys.

With agonising slowness, Erugaar gradually pulls himself to a sitting position. He spends a few seconds working his jaw, trying to loosen it enough to talk.
"We defeated one hunter. Who are you?"
With difficulty, Erugaar cranes his neck for a better look at the stranger.

"My name Krogash-Gha, warrior and hunter. Peon to my people."
The cowl is lowered, orcish features with the softer human frame. A half-orc.
"I have followed you my kinsman, and you have destroyed a mighty enemy. As you are now I can not see your face clearly. From what clan do you hail, and for what purpose do you come, escorted by humans as you are."
The figure glances at your companions.
"Deeprock hold would not slay their own hunter so I chose to show myself. I hope I was not wrong to do so."

Slowly, Erugaar lifts himself to his feet.
"My name is Erugaar, once the foremost warrior of Clan Whitescar."
He shifts his cloak off his arm, revealing the bone-white tattoos.
"If you are from the clan I expect, then you may have heard of me - fear not, my purpose here was to kill the hunter. No more, no less. The humans I travel with are my allies - they are no more aligned to Deeprock Hold than you or I."
Erugaar looks the half-orc steadily in the eye.
"I am tired, and have no wish to fight - but if your orders are to kill the deserter, then be warned - I will defend myself."

Krogash-Gha let out a grizzly laugh.
"So be it. The clan is nothing now but two weak tribes. I am not with the Whitescar, I am with the nameless tribe."

Pleased that he would not have to fight the hunter - his strength was virtually depleted - Erugaar raises an eyebrow.
"Two?"

"The Whitescar tribe split, those who followed the Elder kept the name of Whitescar. Those who stayed behind in our ancestral land now have no name."
His face fills with grief.
"The humans of deeprock attack both tribes and the Whitescar strike at the humans with their new power. The nameless can barely defend themselves with most of the warriors gone and the Whitescar come to take those who show promise away. We cannot resist. I was outcast from our clan as a child I understood the reasons and I returned when I discovered our people were in need!"
A look of pride, then fury,
"When I returned I saw terrible things, the mountain top is home to monsters and the nameless are dieing out as the Whitescar grow stronger with every victory. The Shaman said he had split from the tribe for their protection, but he will destroy them soon in his rish for victory against the humans. Harrag will see us dead before he sees us fall."

Colossal fucking sigh.
Dissertation is due in four weeks. As is another coursework. And another two courseworks in two weeks.
Four courseworks in four weeks. And one is a forty credit module. All of it.
I am declaring a four week hiatus.
At the end of the (seven week I believe) gap I will see if people want to resume, and if I want to resume the game.
Unfortunately the game did not get an opportunity to realign itself down the road of plot before this happened which may influence that decision for some or all of us, but I will leave that to be seen and will make no assumptions.
Sorry to pull this crap but I don't feel that I can run a game and play in another consistently week by week. I am cutting my play schedule down to one game (Friday evenings) which does not interfere with my work schedule. In the same respect loosing 10:00-16:00 every saturday has a massive impact on my productivity for the rest of the day, and that's excluding the time things take to prepare.
So once again, my apologies and I will post again in a months time to test the water, if it has not evaporated with the temporal winds of fate.

Disappointing, but fair enough. Hope the coursework goes well.

Understandable, plus thanks to work Saturdays have now become mucho awkward for me, so a mixed bag; good luck with your work and looking forward to going again, if we do.

Hello! There are several problems with this campaign as of now.
First and most important: I am moving home after this academic year which (as the GM) will cut the campaign short from what was intended if I run it again. I am not happy about that.
Second less important but noteworthy issue (correct me if I'm wrong): With david's new work schedule every two/three weeks we will loose a session? If this is the case it excacerbates the first point.
What do?!
