Hiya, my name is James and I am interested in playing in this game. I signed up on the day so this is just to say I am still interested.
Only problem, this Wednesday I actually wont be around (will this be the character gen session? will it take a whole evening or two?) I can always take a 'standard character' and come up with a storyline in preparation.
Unless of course you have too many people interested and would rather someone there from day one. Just let me know. ^_^

Yes, this will be the character gen session, as well as the ship gen. There are also two others who cannot make this first session, but can make others, so if we can find anothr time for just us to meet to gen characters i'll be fine with that. I'm available for extra sessions all thursday and friday. But if the ship is completely genned in the first session you'll have to go along with whats been done for that.
So far I have 4 100% confirmed players, Sithlord, Jetdoggy and two who confirmed via e-mail. Optimum amount for me will be 6, but im willing to up to 8 if need be. So it looks like there will be a space for you Skutov.
I'm still waiting on the room booking (so it may not actually be this week anyway)

The SU have failed me.
So I suggest we meet in the foyer area of B block and the try to find a free room somewhere. Apparently 2B66, 2B65, 2B28, 2B27, 2B26 are good ones to try.

I have written up my character Creation as a diary entry. (If any of the information contradicts anything other players/GM writes feel free to change it.
Conan's diary.
After 24 years of being an enforcer for various people, in which time i made 2 enemy's, stabbed 2 people in the back (literally) and got then lost a layer, i decided it was time to move on so i tried to become an explorer. This failed dismally as i couldn't read a map and as i sold my house to get money to travel i had to live in the wild. After a few days i came across a clan of barbarians, i hadn't had a nice fight in a while and was missing hitting things so i decided to try and join them. This failed dismally because as soon as i was about to become initiated into their clan my ex-layer came along, how he found me i still haven't worked out to this day, and gave me a restraining order stopping me from becoming a barbarian or even going near them.
As i didn't have the money to start a law suit i had to leave, after about 3 years of wandering i finally noticed a loophole in the restraining order, The only information it contained about me was my name so i changed it to Conan, to help me become a barbarian, and went back to the clan. This time my layer didn't appear so the clan allowed me to take the initiation test which was to go into the cave of doom and bring back there sacred idol. I couldn't find the idol anywhere, though i did come across a shotgun, in till i fell down a ravine. At the bottom was the idol though in the process of falling down the ravine i dislodged a rock which came down with me and chopped of my arm (I will just tell people i lost it fighting thousands of barbarians). After great difficulty i managed to climb out of the cave with the idol and hand it back to the clan.
They did allow me into the clan but as soon as they accepted me they banished me for being unable to hold a gun properly, so i wandered into the dessert with only a lauin cloth and shotgun. I managed to get to the nearest space port where i bumped into a pirate. He told me he was a captain, this was when i got an idea, if i could persuade him to take me with him i could finally get off this planet even though i can't read maps, so i told him about how i lost my arm fighting 1000s of barbarians and that if i cold get a lift off of the planet i would protect the pirate captain. He believed the story completely and gave me the job.
On the way to the ship i stopped of at a weapon specialist so i could upgrade my shotgun. After giving the shotgun to the specialist he took it into his workroom. A few hours later he came out with my new and improved shotgun. It now had a silencer, gyroscopes, a x0way laser sight, personal controls and a grenade launcher. As i came out of the shop i saw the pirate captain talking to this other man. As i went over i could here him talking about how he wanted to come with the pirate so he could write a book series and that he would give some of the profits to the pirate, which he obviously wouldn't but the pirate captain believed him, so he was allowed by the pirate to come with us.
This is when we found out that the pirate didn't have a ship and that we needed to buy one, luckily i had some corsair shares from when i was a bodyguard for a ship builder and the book writer had some too. So we used them to get a corsair, it was still a lot though so we took out a loan. We will try to pay it off so that we don't get repo people after us but if all else fails my shotgun should persuade them to remove the debt.

Finally got a room booked, so we will be in 2B028 again, but officially from now on. It is still on Wednesday evenings at 6.
I currently have 3 genned characters, Conan the Barbarian, Captain Snow and the Great Mantendo. There are two people who have contacted me via email, and Jetdoggy makes 6. Im happy to go up to 8 to accomdate Skutov and Barmybex, but thats where i draw the line.
If people want to meet up before the next session I am free all day and evening today, and I'm currently on campus anyway as my internet at home doesn't work. I can also do monday during the day, but not the evening. Otherwise, we can meet somewhere an hour earlier on Wednesday (5 pm) to get started before the others show up.

ok cool, I'll be on campus from about 12 in that case. Theres generally always free rooms along the corridor of 2b028 etc, so lets meet up there. Anyone who can also make it then or later monday up to about 6 is also welcome, just let me now.

It seems my workload at the moment is determined to crush my soul, I unfortunatley won't have the time to run this session on wednesday the 7th. It should be on again the following week as my pre-christmas deadlines will be done by then. Sorry guys.
Also sorry this is still in the upcoming games section, can anyone shed some light as to how to move it?
